Job Training/Readiness

Destiny – Pride’s training/job readiness program is designed to introduce job readiness or employability skills to youths and adults and to increase their awareness of the types of attitudes, skills and behaviors needed for successful employment. It includes basic social skill awareness; literacy training; tutoring, basic computer skills; job skills training; personal development life management training; economic and financial stability training; and peer-to-peer sessions and focus groups. Our program is designed for undereducated, unemployed, and under-skilled young adults with little or no work experience and focuses on entry level employment skills.
